
A botanical tour to catch the best of the alpine plants of the Drakensberg and Lesotho
This 8-day botanical tour of the alpine flora of the Drakensberg and Lesotho takes the high mountain route, up Sani Pass (2850m), over Black mountain pass (3240m), through the Sehonghong valley, past Mokhotlong, over the Letseng Pass at 3200m, to Oxbow and on through Clarens to Witsieshoek and the Sentinel, in Royal Natal National Park.
Travelling in 4x4 vehicles, starting and ending at Durban’s Ushaka International airport, the tour will provide some of the most exceptional mountain landscapes and alpine flowers of this African botanical ‘hotspot’. Note: South Africans can join the tour on a self-drive basis
